After all, if Lonelygirl15 has taught us anything about the line between reality and fiction, it's that the troubled girl in the weird video may very well be an actress..." For me, it's less about respect and more about safety. The TV show 24 deals with terrorism on a regular basis, but it doesn't fool people into thinking they are really witnessing acts of terror. If it did, we might later find ourselves in actually dangerous situations, neglecting to report them because we assume they're just TV shows or ARGs. I believe people are saying there should be some major consideration taken before begging for help in a game -- it may become a bit like crying wolf. I think the real problem is this:

What I can't understand is why an ARG like Matrixism: The path of the One has generated no such controversy. This game that disguises itself as a religion promotes the use of recreational drugs and vandalism. Is it just because of the religious factor that no one takes exception to it?
